Section 301 duties paid since July 1 on four excluded Chinese product lines can be claimed back by filing a correction from September 23
USTR amended four Section 301 China product exclusions so they match the ten-digit tariff numbers that changed on July 1, 2026, and CBP's systems accept the amended exclusions from noon on September 23. Importers who entered the covered goods between July 1 and September 22 and paid the Section 301 duty can file a Post Summary Correction from September 23 to get the duty back; entries past the correction window can be protested.
