Section 232 drone duties of 25 to 100 percent took effect September 3
CBP's guidance implements Proclamation 11055: unmanned aircraft with thermal imaging, docking stations, and parts for heavy drones pay an additional 100 percent, drones without thermal imaging pay 25 percent, and a 25 percent duty on the remaining drone parts starts February 9, 2027, all on top of existing duties and from every country.
